Join our Members Networking Forum: A Circular Recovery from COVID-19 on April 27th, 2021, 9 am PST / 12 pm EST. The Networking Forum will lead off with experiences and insights from three members and then we will open up the discussion and networking in smaller breakout rooms. This will be an opportunity for you to meet and share experiences with other members of the Council.

With over 20 years of building experience under his belt, Chris knows the unique waste removal needs of the construction industry. Mayor Lori Ackerman, City of Fort St. John

In her third term as the Mayor of the City of Fort St. John BC, Lori is not only a steward for the needs of her city but, she is a champion for her citizens. Whether in paid leadership positions for local community groups, or as a volunteer, Lori has used her expertise and unparalleled drive to benefit her community. Lori was named one of the Top 35 Most Influential Women in BC in 2016, led the community to be Clean Energy BC Community of the Year in 2017 and was recently recognized as the 2019 Canadian Energy Person of the Year by the Energy Council of Canada.

 

Cher Mereweather, President & CEO, Provision Coalition

Cher is one of Canada’s leaders in food and beverage industry sustainability. She has dedicated her 20-year career to enabling food and beverage companies to embrace sustainability, purpose and circularity in order to createa more resilient food system, one company at a time. Before founding Provision in 2012, Cher had established and directed the Sustainability Consulting Business Unit at NSF International and held executive positions with the Canadian agri-food think tank,the George Morris Centre. She was awarded the Canadian Grocer Generation Next award for leadership in sustainability and sits on the Board of Directors for the National Zero Waste Council and Birds Canada.
